Title: Full Stack Web Developer

Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada (must be local)

Level of Experience: Experienced

Salary: To be Negotiated

Responsibilities:

• Build, design and implement scalable and secure web applications.
• Coordinate the organization of software project activities ensuring that projects are completed on time.
• Opportunity to grow and lead the software team; passion for people management and mentorship.
• Initial technical design and tooling decisions.
• Able to effectively communicate technical concepts and provide training to end-users.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Math, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with front-end web technologies (modern HTML, CSS/LESS/SASS and JavaScript).
• 5 years of experience with back-end web technologies (PHP or Python).
• 5 years of experience with relational SQL databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Large systems software design and development experience, with experience in Linux systems.
• Good understanding of distributed systems, load balancing and networking, data storage and security.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
