Preparation

To ensure the best possible video quality, please review the following guidelines to prepare for a video call with an interpreter:

  1. Microphone and Webcam check
    • Check the microphone and webcam components are available and in working order on your computer
    • Your audio is not muted
    • You have allowed microphone and webcam access in your browser permissions
    • 2.png

  2. Working internet connection
    1. All LISA video calls are routed through the internet – to optimize your experience, try to use an Ethernet connection physically wired to your computer instead of Wi-Fi
    2. Bandwidth
      • 2 Mbps upstream/downstream strongly recommended
