This mandatory on-boarding course must be completed in order to be considered for work through LiM. It covers best practices, ethics, certifications, and special requirements. After completing this course, you, the interpreter, will unlock the LiM training courses which will allow you to work in specialized areas such as Phone interpreting, In-Person/On-Site Interpreting, and Video Remote Interpreting.
IMPORTANT: If you do not meet the minimum requirements of interpreter certification, you will not be able to pass this course. Please ensure before beginning that you have completed a recognized interpreter accreditation and that you have your certificate(s) in electronic format (PDF, JPG etc.) ready to upload.
Minimum requirements of interpreter certification:
Any of these certifications: CILISAT, CISOC, IRB, CTTIC (ATIA, ATIO, STIBC etc.) OTTIAQ, ATA, or similar
